Program Overview
The BSL Modular Executive MBA program brings together executives from throughout Switzerland and neighbouring countries. All share the desire to improve their problem-solving capabilities in a rapidly changing business world. The program provides an atmosphere for high quality discussions among professionals who encounter similar business situations. The resulting effects are exciting, stimulating, and highly conducive to rapidly broadening business perspective.
Program Focus and Specializations
Executive Modular MBA participants will be able to walk away with a solid understanding of how to successfully run a business. Then, we focus on what makes the true difference in business: the ability to grasp the bigger picture, to remain calm under pressure, to communicate effectively, to bring out the best in team-members, to lead change, and to achieve results.
MBA in Sustainable Business as an option
The sustainability focus of the BSL MBA/EMBA provides a comprehensive framework to understand the role of business in resolving the challenges our planet faces in the coming decades. Candidates will graduate with 2 degrees: an MBA in Sustainable Business from BSL and a Diploma in Advanced Studies in Sustainable Business from BSL and the University of St.Gallen.
Structure
BSL's Modular Executive MBA program takes places both on Saturdays (excluding holidays) and in 3-day workshops (Thursday - Saturday), making it ideal for practicing professionals. The Program runs over the first twelve months and is composed of ten Foundation modules. The remaining six months are dedicated to the completion of the Real-Life Management Report, career counselling as well as integrative and elective courses. The three elective courses of 3 days each may be taken at anytime during the 1.5 year program.
Duration
BSL’s Modular Executive MBA program is completed in 1.5 years.
Start Dates
Every September and February.
Accreditation
The graduate degree in business at BSL is fully accredited as a postmaster degree in the US and is equivalent to 60 ECTS European postmaster’s degree.

For candidates that do not meet the requirements for work experience for the BSL EMBA, please refer to the BSL MBA Program (minimum 3 years work experience) or alternatively the BSL Master in International Business (limited to no work experience).
