What are you passionate about?

I am passionate about continuous learning, helping society become a better place, and most of all collaborating with people who share the same ideas.

It makes you feel that you belong to a community who aims for a better change, rather than just being another student.

How would you describe your BSL experience so far?

I am having a great time getting to know people who have a different way of thinking than mine, but who help me grow in the process. I also like the fact that I can easily reach out and get an immediate response from my professors.

How do you see your professional future in 5 years from now?

I believe in 5 years I will be back in the States pursuing my passion in healthcare and utilizing what I learned from my MBA experience to make a mark and difference in society.

If there is one significant change you could accomplish in the world, what would it be?

To help people understand and apply the values of preserving quality of life. I believe we live in a very competitive society where people are fighting for perfection and becoming mechanical, forgetting what is really important in life. In the process, we are unconsciously harming ourselves and the environment.

What are the most important values today’s leaders should have?

To effectively lead, I believe the most relevant values are integrity, responsiveness, change and having an open mind.

Tell us one personal story that is truly relevant to your BSL experience.

I believe in order to make a change, you have to start with yourself. Being part of the community at BSL gives me the platform to pursue my passion. For instance, the corruption conference I recently attended gave me an opportunity to integrate with the people who fight the same battle and who motivate me to follow the same path.

Why would you recommend BSL to your friends and peers?

I would highly recommend BSL to my friends because of the school’s unique pragmatic approach, diverse culture and commitment to social responsibility and sustainability. It also gives you a personalized experience because of the small size classes. The chance to live in Switzerland is also an advantage because the country offers a well-balanced lifestyle, a stable economy, a high quality of life, and, of course, an outstanding natural beauty. I believe that living in an environment like this provides you an opportunity to adapt and incorporate the same healthy way of living.
