I am motivated to pursue a Doctorate in Business Administration in order to further an academic research career and contribute to the development of new business practices in the rail transportation industry when it comes to Foreign Direct Investment. With a strong interest to deeply understand (American) foreign direct investment in Africa in general and in the rail sector in particular, I believe the research route will help me learn theoretical knowledge which is behind observed US rail manufacturing firms market penetration practices in Africa.
