“If you want to do something, just go for it”, I am a true believer of this statement. I grew up in India but have lived in Europe in the last 8 years. I did my Bachelor’s in mathematics and then worked for a few start-ups in Switzerland. As a student in BSL’s Master in International and Sustainable Finance now, I am really excited about the future challenges.
The greatest motivation for me is when someone says, “You cannot do this”. Whenever I hear this, it makes me more confident and motivated to do something fruitful. This is not to prove someone wrong, but it gives me satisfaction and an opportunity to explore myself. Every time I do this, I discover something new about myself, sometimes it surprises me a lot. I am very happy with what I have, but I am passionate about learning new things, meeting new and interesting people who inspire me. I am the type of person who doesn’t believe in role models because I am the only one who can motivate and encourage myself. Of course, it’s always good to learn from the experience of others too.
