On Thursday Feb 15th, Dr Katrin Muff will moderate and present at the conference to launch the Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) in Switzerland. This is an important milestone for Switzerland as it drives forward the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals. It’s also a very proud moment for BSL to have the opportunity to participate and contribute to the day.
With the aim of establishing a broad base for implementing the SDGs, the conference, will be attended by representatives from the scientific and research communities, think-tanks, politicians and government officials, civil society, industry as well as international organizations. Working around the theme ‘Where Society, Science and Politics create solutions’ participants will have the chance to analyse opportunities and challenges for Switzerland, gain a deepening understanding of the transformation process towards sustainability and have the occasion to connect and collaborate on sustainable development solutions.

The conference is organized by SDSN Switzerland’s co-hosts Centre for Development and Environment (CDE) at the University of Bern and Biovision – Foundation for Ecological Development.
