BSL, located in Lausanne, is surrounded by internationally acclaimed institutions such as the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (EPFL), the renowned design school ECAL, and international organizations including CERN, the United Nations, and the World Economic Forum in nearby Geneva. The local public transport system, TL (Transports Lausannois), provides students with efficient metro and bus services. Student passes are available for approximately CHF 45 per month. The Flon district is a vibrant area filled with student-friendly bars and music venues. Nature lovers can hike in Sauvabelin Forest or take a boat ride on Lake Geneva.
