Dr. Adele Luise Carter is a highly experienced technical Innovation and Exploitation leader for a Business Doctor Company Kiteway. Work has encompassed R&D projects for Innovate UK, Horizon 2020 and Eureka with over 500 projects from Multi-Modal Transport (Aerospace, rail , maritime), cyber security, Agricultural Technology, Energy, Creative Industries, Medical and National Security.
Prior to this Adele has been a successful business development and IT programme manager to director working for CMG, HP, RS Components, P&O Ferries and Serco, Research Establishments (Universities and Catapults from Cambridge to University of Gloucestershire and Satellite Applications Catapult), Management Consultancies (Admiral, Tribal, PA Consulting) and Charities (BCS, Oxfam, Cancer Research Plc and Roses Theatre).
This is supported with an academic career starting with a system engineering honours degree, to post-doc research work in safety critical and security critical software and member of pertinent International Standards Committees and related publications.
Adele is a natural communicator with experience in both client and internal relationship as an HP Ambassador to the United States, and knowledge in expectation management at all levels, sub-contractor management and working within differing cultural and national environments especially in Europe (Norway, Germany, France, Switzerland), Africa (Zimbabwe, Nigeria, Niger, Ghana) Asia (Vietnam, Malysia, South Korea), the USA (Texas) and Central America (Nicaragua)
