Professional Career & Mini Bio
Professor Dr. David Mc Partland teaches Strategic Management at the Master level at Business School Lausanne. He holds a Doctorate in Education (EdD), School of Education, Human Sciences & Law, University of Derby, England and an MSc in Corporate Strategy and People Management, J.E. Cairnes Graduate School of Business & Economics, National University of Ireland Galway, Ireland. Dr. Mc Partland has over fifteen years’ experience as a lecturer and holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Higher Education teaching. In adopting a hands-on approach to teaching and learning, he promotes the use of business simulations, and the case study method within the classroom.
He has previously worked in the Hospitality, Travel and Tourism industry throughout Europe, and the Advertising industry in Australia and Ireland. Dr. Mc Partland currently teaches Strategic Management, Human Resource Management, and Organizational Behavior at several business schools in Switzerland. He enjoys working with multi-cultural student cohorts and fostering inclusive learning environments.
