Born with an insatiable curiosity for the world of management, Dr. Hajer decided to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management at a prestigious institution in Tunisia. Throughout the course of this program, Dr. Hajer consistently demonstrated exceptional dedication and an unwavering commitment to academic excellence. As a testament to this dedication, Dr. Hajer not only graduated at the top of her class but also emerged as the valedictorian of her entire graduating cohort.
Fuelled by a burning desire to delve deeper into the realms of management and business administration, Dr. Hajer continued her academic journey by pursuing a Master’s degree in Hospitality Management in the vibrant city of Budapest, Hungary. During this phase, Dr. Hajer continued to shine academically, consistently raising the bar for her peers and professors alike.
Dr. Hajer’s outstanding achievements did not go unnoticed. Recognizing her exceptional talents, Dr. Hajer was awarded a prestigious state scholarship, which opened the doors to an exciting and challenging opportunity – a Ph.D. in Management and Business Administration. Over the course of six years, Dr. Hajer embarked on an intensive research journey, exploring various facets of management and specialized in Sustainability, Corporate Social Responsibility and ESG. Her dedication to scholarship and rigorous research resulted in the publication of numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals, with several of them being ranked in the esteemed Q1, Q2 and Q3 categories.
But Dr. Hajer’s contributions extended beyond publications. She took her research to international conferences, where she shared her insights and findings with the global academic community, earning respect and admiration for her work. Dr. Hajer also embraced the role of mentorship, teaching and supervising Bachelor’s and Master’s students in her academic pursuits, fostering the next generation of scholars.
Two years ago, Dr. Hajer embarked on a new chapter in her life, relocating to the picturesque landscapes of Switzerland. In the heart of Switzerland, at the Business School of Lausanne (BSL), Dr. Hajer assumed the role of an Introduction to Management professor.
And now, Dr. Hajer embarked on yet another exciting adventure in the world of finance. She took up a role at the Back Office and Reconciliation department in a prestigious Wealth Management company in Geneva, Switzerland. With her strong foundation in management and her passion for academia, Dr. Hajer is poised to make significant contributions to the world of finance, just as she has in the field of Hospitality Management.
