Dr. Victor Yerris is Professor of Strategic Corporate Finance and Banking at BSL. He has a Doctorate Degree in Business administration (DBA), Major in Finance and Banking from the University of Geneva and Swiss Business School and a Master of Arts Degree (M.A.) from the University of Zurich. Dr. Yerris is a committee member in a number of Academic Institutions and organization in Switzerland and abroad among them; Research Review panel, Swiss Accreditation team for Swiss Private Business Schools, Swiss Financial Analysts Association, Chartered Financial Analysts, Chartered Alternative Investments Analysts and Member International Commodities and Derivatives Association. Dr. Yerris has also worked in investment Banking, Wealth management and Corporate Finance Consultancy with companies such Citibank, UBS and Ernst & Young. Dr. Yerris is acknowledged as a featured speaker at investment forums and summits and has written and published a number of papers and books in Finance journals among them Spiritual Interventions for Cancer sick Investors, Wiley Publishers, The BECHL Model, An Effective Short-term stock price prediction tool, Impact investing in Sustainable Private Equity Sector etc.
Dr. Yerris’ current research work focuses on Corporate Strategy, Behavioral Finance, Risk Management and Derivatives. He often examines these fields by initiating and implementing large-scale field experiments, with the goal of producing convincing evidence for corporate and public policy decisions.
Other Projects that Dr. Yerris is currently undertaking include the study of international asset prices and exchange rates; the interaction between asset prices, Strategic Corporate investment decisions, wealth and welfare on a global scale; links between investors’ information and asset prices; growth implications of risk return trade off as well fiscal policy risks.
Dr. Yerris has also received a number of awards for his teaching and Research in the Executive and PhD programs.
