I am currently the Senior Head of Global Web Scraping Solutions and Asia Pacific Quality Director at GfK (www.gfk.com), a provider of AI-powered intelligence platform and consulting service. I have 25 years of experience in building and leading data science, analytics and research teams across several companies including NielsenIQ, Zuellig Pharma and Coca Cola Bottlers Philippines. I am currently the Vice President representing Asia of the International Federation of Operational Research Societies (IFORS), a non-profit global organization composed of 54 national societies aimed at promoting operational research globally to make better decisions. I am also the immediate Past President of the Asia Pacific Operational Research Societies (APORS), and immediate Past President of the Operations Research Society of the Philippines (ORSP).

Statement of Motivation for a DBA
My main motivation for undertaking a DBA is to further my knowledge and skills in the area of machine learning and operations research, and to identify novel business applications and insights that combine the two approaches. I hope to work on a research project showing how integrating machine learning and operations research techniques can yield significant improvements in efficiency and profitability. Lastly, I want to do the DBA at BSL since I will have a chance to network with other researchers and professionals in the field. I want to be part of a community of people with the same interest.
