Professional Career & Mini Bio
Professor Jean-Paul Jeanrenaud is President of OPEN (One Planet Education Networks); Co-founder and Managing Director of One Planet Wisdom; and Senior Advisor to WWF Switzerland. During his career he worked as a forester and Director of development projects in S. Asia, Africa and Europe. He worked for WWF International for 26 years as Director of the International Forest Programme, Director of Corporate Relations, and Director of Business Education. He co-founded the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC); One Planet Leaders; the award winning One Planet MBA; and OPEN for Business. He is Visiting Professor at Audencia School of Management, Nantes, France. He has been a lifelong student of the World Wisdom Traditions and is a qualified Mindfulness (MBSR) trainer.
