What led to your interest in business?
My past experience in business and the relation to my family business.
Why did you decide to join BSL?
BSL is a small and pragmatic business school. I was searching for a business school with small classes and a friendly atmosphere. BSL offers just that with an additional focus on sustainability which forms the business of tomorrow.
How has your experience been so far?
I have created a good community of friends in BSL since September 2014 and this allows me to create an important network of interesting and different people which will certainly be an advantage in my future career.
BSL has allowed me to open myself to new cultures and mentalities, whether with the students or with the professors who are all active in the business world. The experience we see from our professors is unique and this makes our classes look like business meetings in a professional but friendly atmosphere.
What are you passionate about? How will you bring your passion to your work in the future?
I am very passionate about relationships. For me, business isn’t about leading the biggest number of employees but about the relations within each employee. The experience in the family business has shaped me in this way and I believe this will be my vision in my business career.
As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I have always had a brief idea about my future which was linked to business. Growing up in a business atmosphere and following certain activities since my youngest age did motivate me to follow the same track.
Who or what inspires you?
Of course, my father inspires me as he has started from nothing to become a successful entrepreneur. Leading and developing business activities is an inspiration for my career, hopefully within the family business.
How do you see your professional future in 5 years from now? What will you be doing?
I would like to finish my bachelor’s and eventually add a master’s degree later on. Afterwards, I think that working for a large firm will serve me in order to understand the concepts of large businesses and to gain experience, of course. I would like to join the family business after that in order to expand it to different countries.
If you could make one significant change to the world, what would it be?
Changing the way people look at capitalism.
