What led to your interest in business?
Developing my entrepreneurial skills.
Why did you decide to join BSL?
Mainly for the option to specialise during the masters, in particular the specialisation in luxury management. I loved the atmosphere of it when I came for a visit; everyone made me feel at home from the first moment. It is a close-unit environment which allows for one-on-one interaction. I knew I wouldn’t be just another number here, but a part of a family.
How has your experience been so far?
It has been a life-changing and eye-opening experience. In only five weeks, the way I think and look at the world have changed for the better. It is a fast-paced and steep learning curve that keeps you on your toes. The lessons and the professors are greatly engaging. And the student body is as welcoming as you could ask for. BSL truly feels like a family.
BSL is a great stepping stone in your career development that will expand your mind and challenge every preconception you had of the world. The atmosphere is very open and warm; you will feel right at home.
What are you passionate about? How will you bring your passion to your work in the future?
I am passionate about textures. I love doing ceramic bowls and creating intriguing patterns on their surface. My second passion is capturing memories. I am yet to discover how to integrate my passions into my future career. Ideally I will have a job where I can combine my artistic background and the business skills I am developing at BSL.
As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
A photographer, I was obsessed with capturing memories.
Who or what inspires you?
The natural world, the way light is filtered through gaps and reflected off objects.
How do you see your professional future in 5 years from now? What will you be doing?
BSL is part of my career evolution and I am still unsure what my next step will be. But ideally, I will be in a job that satisfies me not only professionally but also personally. I want to wake up and be happy to go to work every single morning. I would love to work either for an haute-jewellery or an haute-horlogerie company.
If you could make one significant change to the world, what would it be?
To bring light, beauty and enjoyment to the small ordinary moments.
