Participants in the Diploma of Advanced Studies (DAS) in Sustainable Business are typically working professionals who leverage the program experience by becoming internal sustainability consultants in their organizations or advancing towards senior management positions. Consulting Project

The Consulting Project is an integral part of the program and a stepping stone in your preparation as a business sustainability professional. It enables you to integrate your learning throughout the program and apply it towards a meaningful consulting experience. You will work in a multi-faceted team on a project of strategic importance to the partnering organization and will be supported by a member of the teaching faculty. The experience is challenging – you will need to be agile and “build the bridge as you walk on it”. However, you will gain confidence in your own capacity for consulting work in the sustainability field and will establish meaningful connections with clients from the partnering organization.

Leadership Coaching & Self-Discovery

You will embark on a personal development journey through a series of Leadership & Personal Development modules which will enable you to know yourself better, discover your unique strengths, and craft a vision for an inspiring and fulfilling future. With the ongoing support of certified leadership coaches, you will dive into an in-depth exploration of your strengths and competencies and will do multiple behavioural, psychometric, and strengths assessments, including StrengthsFinder 2.0, Belbin, and Saboteur Assessment. You will identify key insights about human behaviour and action and will acquire skills related to giving dynamic feedback, having courageous conversations, and leading yourself and others through change. You will continue to explore your identity, set goals, and make steps towards carving a professional path that is personally meaningful and fulfilling.
